Room on our rock is a lovely story because when you read it back to front it tells a better point of view.

But when you read the story front to back it tells you an mean and unwelcoming point of view.

Reading this book back to front reminds me of my friends and how they welcome me to their space.

I like the way the Author has laid out this text to 2 different point of views. The strategy i used while reading was Questioning.The question I asked was how did the seal feel after not welcoming the other seal in the first point of view?
When I was reading the book front to back it made me feel about how people won’t let me sit with them at school.It Also made me think about the refugees running away from war in their home country and when people don’t welcome them.

The reverse narrative style is a great way to tell two points of view.  have a read and find out for yourself.
