This story is about a girl called Sophie who is in a foster home. One night as she is looking out of her window, a giant stretches his hand in the window and takes her to giant land. Giant land was a land full of giants. The giant that took Sophie is a nice one that’s why his name was the bfg it stood for the big friendly giant. He took her to a cave so that she could be safe from the other giants. All the other giants were bigger, stronger and meaner. In the bfgs cave he has a photo of the queen. Sophie came up with an idea to go to the queen's Palace and make her kick all the giants out of giant land. Find out what happens by reading

Thank goodness it was the BFG's hand that reached in the window toward Sophie rather than one of those other bigger, stronger and meaner giants.
Have you read any other Roald Dahl novels? How does this one compare, in your opinion?
