Horrible Science

Horrible Science (blood, bones, and body bits) is a funny way to teach kids about science from the past. when you read the first page, it starts of with the story of Frankenstein.
It was past midnight and the rain was splattering against the window-pain of the lonely attic room. By the dim light of a candle, Baron Frankenstein gazed in horror at the creature that he had just put together from bits of chopped up dead bodies. The monster was unbelievably, hideously ugly. Suddenly a shudder seemed to run through the creature's body and it stirred like a heavy sleeper about to wake.
That's the story of Frankenstein that was written by Mary Shelley that is almost 200 years old.
This book also teaches you about what's in your body and how people used to dig up dead bodies from graves and how scientists and doctors would turn to the criminal side and do this or pay someone to do this for them. Learning from this book, there are 206 bones, 200 muscles and also your liver performs over 500 jobs in your body. it teaches you all the body parts and what they do.

I would recommend this book to people from year 4 to year 8 because for those who don't understand things well, this is the book for you and entertaining.                                                                   Horrible Science - Blood, Bones And Body Bits: 9780439943338: Amazon.com: Books
